General Podiatry

At Steve Jackson Podiatry we can assist with all of your foot care needs. Corns, callus and toenail problems can be treated quickly and painlessly.

Sports Podiatry

Whether you are walking for fun or fitness, training for your first City to Surf, or are an elite athlete, our podiatrists will be able to assist you in managing and preventing foot, ankle and lower limb related injuries.

Diabetic Care

Diabetes is the leading cause of non-trauma related foot amputation in Australia. In almost all cases these amputations could have been prevented with good quality foot care.

Diabetes can pose significant risks to patients' feet so quality podiatry care is essential. Our podiatrists have extensive experience in managing the diabetic foot. Whether it be general diabetic foot care, ulcer management or diabetic foot screening, we are here to help you maintain

healthy diabetic feet.

Paediatrics

There are a number of reasons why children may need to see a podiatrist. The most common include flat feet, tired achy legs or "growing pains", in-toeing or pigeon toed walking, knock knees, curly toes, sore heels, sports related injuries, plantar warts and ingrown toenails.

All of our podiatrists have worked and trained extensively in paediatric foot care.

Foot Orthoses

Our wide range of foot orthoses options cater for a wide variety of conditions, shoes and budgets. Our onsite orthoses laboratory allows us to customise, modify and refurbish custom and off-the-shelf orthoses, usually during your appointment time.

When combined with a thorough assessment, our podiatrists can modify our off-the-shelf orthoses to suit your individual needs to create a semi-customised orthoses which is effective, comfortable and affordable.

Many of our patients prefer the convenience, comfort and affordability of our semi-custom orthoses option.

Nail Surgery

While we try to resolve ingrown toe nail issues conservatively, there are times where a more permanent option is required.

Our podiatrists perform partial and total nail avulsions under local anaesthetic. The procedure is quick, simple and painless.
